Hotel and Travel

The site for the 2009 Pikes Peak Cup is the spectacular Broadmoor Hotel. The Broadmoor is a world class, five star hotel that also boasts a beautiful convention center that is a great facility for our wonderful competition. The meet site is on the same property as the hotel so you might not need a rental car. However, if you plan on doing some sight seeing you will need a car.

Hotel Rates:
Room rates for the Pikes Peak Cup are only $148.00 per night.
(These rooms go for over $300 during their high season, and they are amazing.)
You will need to make your reservations early to get the rooms you want.

The cut-off date for this discounted rate is January 8th, 2009.

Reservations:
Call 1-800-634-7711 and mention the “Pikes Peak Cup” to get the special room rate.

Air Travel:
You can fly into to Colorado Springs (COS) or Denver International Airport (DIA). Colorado Springs is a small airport and is only 15 minutes from the Broadmoor. Denver International Airport is about one hour and forty minutes away by car. Many teams in the past have flown in and out of DIA since it is directly off of I-70 which is the main highway to all the major ski areas in Colorado.

Car Rental:
The 2009 Pikes Peak Cup is conducted on the property of the Broadmoor hotel. You can stay in the hotel and walk across the street to the meet site. If you plan on enjoying the amenities of the hotel during your stay with us a car rental may not be necessary. However, if you want to get off the property for some sight seeing or go into the mountains you will need to rent a car.
